2023 FRIDA LOOK-A-LIKE COSTUME CONTEST
The costume contest will have three categories; Frida Ms.(18 and up), Frida Jr (11 - 17), and Frida Little (2 - 10). All costume categories have equivalent prizes for the selected winners. Winners for each category will be chosen by our amazing panel of judges. Take a look below for some additional details.
Contest Rules
All costumes must be family-friendly.
No political or religious statements are allowed.
Use of liquids or messy substances is not allowed
Sign Up and complete the registration below.
Late Registration will be accepted at the Edinburg Municipal Auditorium from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
All contestants must be checked in by 6:30 PM or will not be participating in the contest.
A contestant number will be assigned; the number must be worn on the costume.
Each contestant will be introduced individually by the emcee using the information on the registration form. Upon introduction, the contestant will walk forward and engage the audience and judges, answer two questions then return to the line-up. After the last contestant, the entire line of contestants will walk back on the stage for the last looks.
Contestants will be scored on Character, Confidence, Costume, Stage Presence, Originality, and their answers to the questions.
