Artists and Municipalities Workshop

The City of Edinburg is pleased to announce an Artists & Municipalities Workshop on Friday, July 26 at 5:30 pm at the Sekula Memorial Library located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd. in Edinburg. The workshop will feature guest muralist, Mauricio Ramirez, who has designed community-based murals coast to coast. Ramirez will also be present at FridaFest on Saturday, July 27 as a guest muralist.

Ramirez will delve into discovering mural opportunities, engaging in community-centric design, crafting a compelling proposal, and sharing the invaluable tips and tricks he’s picked up along the way. He will also speak on the online application process with government entities. Additionally, guests will gain insights from City experts on navigating the City's procurement process, registration, and project timelines. This workshop will also be a prime opportunity to network with fellow artists already collaborating with the city.
