You are encouraged to call the City of Edinburg ACE Center at (956) 388 - 8224 to inquire about venue availability regarding the date of your upcoming event and rental rates and/or payments.
Things to know:
Residents of Edinburg can reserve dates up to 1 year in advance.
Non-Residents of Edinburg can book a date up to 6 months in advance.
Dates must be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance of the desired date. A rental date will not be reserved or confirmed until a contract is filled out, signed and the deposit is paid in full. Contracts can be filled out, signed and paid for at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library with the Cultural Arts Division.
Restrictions and Permitting
Auditorium hours are 10 a.m. to 12 a.m (midnight)
Deposit is returned 2 -3 weeks after the event by a mailed check to the address on the contract.
Times of use must be specified for Auditorium to be opened; keys are not given out.
No food or drinks allowed in the Auditorium except for bottled water.
Selling of food or concession is not allowed unless written permission from the City of Edinburg is provided.
Security is required, minimum of 2 officers for 4 hours.
Non-Profit rentals are taken no earlier than one month before the event and require active Tax Exempt Number for verification; schools are taken no earlier than two months before the event & pay 50% of rental rate, plus any additional extras.
No Smoking.
No decoration or tape on Auditorium walls.
No glitter, NO EXCEPTIONS. Glitter will be considered a full damage and deposit will be not be refunded extra charges may apply.
