Help create an original musical with us through these six 4-hour sessions.

Embark on a creative journey with our community devising classes, where the magic of collaboration unfolds in the creation of an original musical. Join a vibrant community as we collectively weave the tale of a young girl discovering her cultural roots and history, guided by the strength and wisdom of her community. These classes empower participants to contribute to the development of this captivating narrative, using their unique perspectives to explore the profound theme, "There's no place like home." Through a fusion of storytelling, music, and collective imagination, we'll come together to breathe life into a musical that celebrates the richness of nature, ancestry, history and the transformative power of community. Unleash your creativity and be a part of crafting a theatrical experience that resonates with the universal journey of self-discovery and the enduring importance of home. This musical will ultimately host community auditions in late April, where participants can audition to play a role in the production. The production will be the kick off event for FridaFest on July 27th and have a limited run to follow.
