Edinburg, Texas–The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library through its Cultural Arts Division announces a variety of free quality-of-life program. Programs such as festivals, theatrical performances, dance, music, and art exhibits, as well as poetry readings.
One of these programs is ART_oLoGY, an art class for adults. The program consists of two classes painting and drawing. The first painting class is on Friday, February 23, at 6 p.m. and the drawing class will be on Saturday, February 24, at 2 p.m.
The classes are designed to be fun and educational for adults and seniors. Because of its popularity, seating is limited to 30 students per class. Classes are on a first come, first served basis. Registration begins on February 5, and will close on February 13. Students can register by visiting www.edinburgarts.com or by calling The Sekula Memorial Library at 956-383-6246.
All materials for the painting class will be provided; while only some materials will be provided for the drawing class. Students are welcome to supply their own material. A complete list of supplies is available on the website.
